Here are some of my very favorite softball pitching resoures. If you want to learn to pitch, or if you want to coach pitchers, these are definitely great places to start learning.
House of Pitching - This is Bill Hillhouse's website. Bill is one of the top men's fastpitch pitchers with experience playing fastpitch softball around the world. Bill is also a pitching coach and instructor.
One of the biggest reasons I chose Bill's DVD when my daughter wanted to learn how to pitch is because of Eddie Feigner. Right now, there is controversy over the impact of pitching on the body. Is it harmful to the back? Are certain styles harmful to your body? Well, Eddie was able to pitch until he was into his 60's. He must have been doing something right! Eddie Feigner of the King and His Court officially endorses the House of Pitching Instructional DVDs. The House of Pitching DVDs are the only pitching instruction videos endorsed by the King. This tells me that Bill must also be doing something right. If my daughter wants to pitch, I want her to be able to do it for years and years to come. If Eddie Feigner could pitch for that long, I'm sure my daughter is in good hands learning from someone Eddie endorses.

Ernie Parker Videos - Ernie Parker is a well respected pitching guru. I, personally, went to an Ernie Parker clinic when I was growing up which is why he is one of the resources I recommend. Ernie's website has some cool video clips that you can take a look at including one of Cat Osterman demonstrating a rise ball drill. Lisa Fernandez and Jennie Finch are among the softball greats that once learned from Ernie so you know he's got valuable information to share.
