This got me thinking about all I have to get ready for, as well as some things that I had not considered. I don’t think I’ll share it with the coaches in my area though!! LOL David
At first when i was reading, my initial thoughts were this is all very basic and would be good for anyone just getting started in the coaching arena. As I progressed through the report, I realized sometimes when you take things for granted and don’t put much thought into them, they slip through the cracks and get forgotten. This report reminds me a bit of “back to the basics” of coaching and to remember to do some of the little things that may get overlooked. Ultimately, that may make the difference between an average and a good coach. You can never be completely prepared for every situation but this will give you some things to think about to avoid some possible hurdles along the way.
Solid to the point report. I like the get to the point and forget the fluff style. The beginning was basic enough not to overwhelm the new coach and by the end you were offering things that the seasoned coach is looking for. Troy |
