Distance: This bat can absolutely drive the ball. We saw distances of 246, 255, and 260 feet, with a max of 265 feet. Testers even mentioned clearing scoreboards and second fences at 225-foot fields.

Forgiveness: One of the most impressive aspects of the Kryo is how forgiving it feels. Even when contact drifts toward the hands or the end of the barrel, the ball still carries. There’s noticeable pop across the entire hitting surface.

The “Whip” Factor: There’s a smooth, slightly whippy sensation during the swing that really helps generate bat speed. It feels controlled, quick, and powerful all at once.

Compared to the Easton Ghost, the Kryo feels more balanced and slightly quicker through the zone. The Ghost is known for its heavier barrel feel and explosive pop once broken in, but it can feel a bit end-loaded for some hitters. The Kryo, on the other hand, offers a smoother, more controlled swing with a noticeable “whip” effect that helps generate bat speed without feeling barrel-heavy. Both bats deliver strong exit velocity and distance, but the Kryo may feel more manageable for players who prioritize balance.

When matched up with the LXT, the Kryo feels hotter and more aggressive. The LXT is extremely smooth, consistent, and forgiving, but it doesn’t always have the same explosive ceiling as the Kryo’s GO-EX1 barrel once fully broken in. In short, the Kryo blends the Ghost’s power potential with the LXT’s balanced control, creating a well-rounded, high-performance option.
